Now Accepting All New Adventures…..
I can’t remember a time in my life before I was in love with the outdoors or up for a new adventure. My love to get outside my comfort zone and push myself in many individual and small team sports, as well as through travel, has taught me perseverance that I have used in my high school classrooms and will continue to use throughout my higher education.

It all began in Middle School …
Passion For Service.
It began at the Saint Patrick Thrift Store. I was the first student to volunteer and I couldn’t get enough of connecting with the people in the community. Over the years my committment to giving back to my community has become a constant thread in my story. I have dedicated time to the National Park Service Junior Lifeguards, North Bay Theatrics, Indivisible Project and California Democratic Party. I have been most passionate about working with children and giving my time to teach them the life skills of swimming and camping. I am proud to say I plan to graduate high school with over 300 volunteer hours largely through my passion projects with SOMA Aquatics and World Scouting.
Sailing
I’m an experienced sailor on one design dingys (Zests, Quests and Catalinas) sloops having been inspired by sailing camps as a younger kid.
I’ve represented my school, Marin Catholic at varsity level competing in regattas in Santa Barbara, New Orleans, Monterey Bay and across the Bay Area. Our fleets often numbered in almost 30 boats, so definitely competitive sailing!
I can switch easily between skipper, crew and tactics, but I’m at my happiest as crew and calling out the tacks, starting lines so we can place as best we could in our races.
Lifeguarding
A creature of the sea, I have always felt at one in the water. I learned to swim before age three and spend most of my childhood on the swim team pool decks. It didn’t seem a stretch to me to try out to be a Junior lifeguard for the National Park Service at age 14. I mean what’s a 600 yard swim in the freezing waters and currents of the Pacific followed by a 1 mile swim right? By 15, I was a certified RedCross Lifeguard with Oxygen Administration Certification with some amazing training on lifesaving and search and rescue already behind me. I was working an hour or two short of full time by the following summer. Throughout the next school year, I continued to work for a local pool as well as private opportunities as well as continued to teach swim lessons.
